Project Overview

Float is an innovative club located on a boat, offering a unique nightlife experience on the water. The venue combines stunning views with a vibrant atmosphere, making it a sought-after destination for party-goers. To enhance the overall experience, Float partnered with ULSE to design and implement a state-of-the-art Audio, Visual, and Lighting (AVL) system.

Objectives

The primary objectives for the AVL system at Float were to:

1. Create an immersive audio experience that complements the club's energetic atmosphere.
2. Implement a visually stunning lighting design that enhances the ambiance and engages guests.
3. Ensure the AVL system is reliable and can withstand the unique challenges of a marine environment.

AVL System Design

To achieve these objectives, PULSE selected high-quality equipment from leading brands, including Martin Audio, TW Audio, and Vision Pro Lighting.

1. Audio System:

• Martin Audio: The system featured Martin Audio's advanced speakers, known for their clarity and power. The setup included a combination of line array systems and subwoofers, providing even sound distribution throughout the club. This ensured that every guest, regardless of their location on the boat, could enjoy a high-fidelity audio experience.
• TW Audio: Complementing the Martin Audio system, TW Audio speakers were strategically placed to enhance the low-end response and provide a rich, immersive sound. The combination of these two brands created a dynamic audio environment that kept the energy high throughout the night.

2. Lighting System:

• Vision Pro Lighting: The lighting design incorporated Vision Pro fixtures, which offered versatility and creativity. The system included moving heads, LED washes, and atmospheric effects that transformed the space into a vibrant environment. The lighting was programmed to sync with the music, creating a cohesive experience that captivated guests and encouraged them to dance.
