From immersive digital signage via Pixilab Blocks to integrated backend systems

Responsibilities
- Develop, extend, and maintain custom Odoo modules and features using Python and JavaScript
- Build backend services and real-time APIs using Node.js.
- Script and customize AV content and logic using TypeScript in Pixilab Blocks.
- Integrate third-party systems and manage data synchronization workflows.
- Collaborate with AV engineers and project teams to deliver integrated, client-facing solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and deployment processes.
Technical Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing within the Odoo framework.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing within the Odoo framework.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript, ideally in environments like Pixilab Blocks.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, and Git.
- Experience with frontend libraries (Vue.js, React) is an added bonus.
- Good understanding of modular architecture and reusable code practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with real-time communication protocols (WebSocket, UDP, etc.).
- Previous exposure to AVL (Audio, Visual, and Lighting) systems and related technologies.
- Experience working with platforms like Pixilab, Q-SYS, Crestron, or other AV scripting tools.
- Experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD, or DevOps environments is a plus.
- Currently residing in the UAE or GCC region.
