Nobu Restaurant, One & Only, One Zaabeel V2 — Professional Audio, Video & Lighting Project

Nobu One&Only One Za'abeel combines contemporary Japanese dining, luxury hospitality, and vibrant social experiences within a highly refined environment. The AV systems needed to support multiple operational scenarios while remaining discreet and visually integrated within the venue's architectural design.

The project requirements included delivering crystal-clear background music, supporting flexible event hosting capabilities, providing intuitive control for operational teams, and ensuring long-term reliability within a high-end hospitality environment.

Pulse Middle East developed a comprehensive AV solution that balanced premium performance with operational simplicity, creating an enhanced experience for both guests and venue staff.

1. Audio Systems

A carefully engineered audio solution was implemented throughout Nobu One&Only One Za'abeel, utilizing a combination of TW AUDiO and Martin Audio loudspeaker systems to deliver exceptional sound quality while remaining visually discreet within the venue's luxury interior design. In line with the architectural vision and Rockwell Group's design philosophy, a key project objective was to ensure that the technology blended seamlessly into the environment, allowing guests to experience premium audio without visual distraction.

Through strategic loudspeaker placement, custom mounting solutions, and meticulous system tuning, the audio infrastructure provides consistent and immersive coverage across dining, lounge, and hospitality spaces while preserving the aesthetic integrity of the venue. Advanced amplification and digital signal processing technologies were integrated to achieve balanced sound distribution, supporting ambient background music, private events, and live entertainment with outstanding clarity and control.

The zoned audio architecture also provides operational flexibility, enabling venue staff to independently manage audio sources and volume levels across different areas of the restaurant. The result is a refined and highly reliable sound experience that enhances the Nobu atmosphere while remaining virtually invisible to guests.

2. Visual Systems

A standout element of the project was the delivery and integration of a 6.88m x 6.40m fine-pitch P2.5 LED feature wall located within Nobu's DJ booth. Designed as a premium visual centerpiece, the LED installation was carefully coordinated with the interior design and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration within the venue's luxury environment. 

Utilizing a high-resolution LED platform, the display delivers exceptional image clarity, vibrant color reproduction, and outstanding contrast, creating a captivating visual experience for guests while maintaining the refined atmosphere synonymous with the Nobu brand. The large-format screen provides a versatile platform for branded content, immersive visual experiences, private events, corporate functions, and special activations. 

Pulse designed and delivered the complete solution, including LED display technology, processing, signal distribution, structural coordination, and system integration. Particular attention was given to sightlines, content presentation, and operational simplicity to ensure the display enhanced the guest journey without compromising the sophisticated aesthetic established by Rockwell Group's design vision.

The result is a visually impactful yet architecturally integrated feature that elevates the venue's entertainment capabilities while providing a reliable, future-ready display solution capable of supporting a wide range of hospitality and event requirements.

3. Control & Automation

To simplify daily operations, a centralized control and management platform was implemented, enabling venue teams to efficiently operate audio and visual systems from user-friendly touchscreen interfaces.

The intuitive control environment allows staff to manage audio sources, volume levels, display functionality, and predefined operating modes with minimal training requirements. By consolidating system management into a single platform, operational complexity was significantly reduced while improving overall efficiency and consistency.

4. Infrastructure & System Reliability

A robust AV infrastructure was developed to support the venue's demanding operational requirements while providing flexibility for future upgrades and expansion.

Equipment racks, network architecture, signal distribution pathways, and system power management were carefully designed to maximize reliability and long-term performance. 5. Training & Project Handover

A comprehensive handover and training program was provided to ensure operational teams could confidently manage the new AV systems from day one.

Training sessions covered system operation, troubleshooting procedures, best practices, and routine management processes. The simplified user interfaces and intuitive workflows have enabled staff to quickly adopt the technology and maximize its benefits across daily operations and special events.
