Professional Sound Systems
Sound system design, supply, installation and commissioning from Dubai for clubs, theme parks, hotels and pavilions: Martin Audio, TW Audio, L-Acoustics.
We design, supply, install and commission sound systems for clubs, beach clubs, theme parks, hotels, restaurants and exhibition pavilions. Pulse Middle East was founded in Dubai in 2010 by Joe Chidiac. Our engineers, programmers, project managers and technicians work from one building in Dubai Investment Park, so the team that designs a system also installs, programs and supports it.
What the service covers
- Design and consultancy: loudspeaker selection and placement, coverage layouts, zoning, amplifier and DSP architecture, power charts, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Supply and integration: procurement, installation, cabling, DSP programming and audio network configuration.
- Commissioning: testing, tuning and level setting for each operating mode, from dinner service to a DJ set.
- Training, servicing and support: operator training at handover, and support after it.
Engineering problems we solve
One system, several venues
At Wavehouse in Atlantis The Palm, a restaurant, bar, outdoor lounge and theme park share one sound system. We divided it into 11 zones and 25 subzones, each with its own power and volume settings, and mapped and monitored all 108 loudspeakers in Powersoft's Armonía software. A Symetrix Radius NX handles routing, and Dante AVIO adaptors network the equipment through two switches, so any input can reach any output. The loudspeakers are TW Audio T24 and C5 with M and B series subwoofers, plus Martin Audio CDD weather-resistant models, on Powersoft Quattrocanali and X series amplifiers.
Billionaire, Mandarin Oriental Downtown moves from fine dining to live shows to late-night DJ sets. The system layers TW Audio T20i, M12, M8, B14i, B15, B17i, B18 and BSX with Martin Audio CDD and X Series in supporting areas, on Powersoft Unica and Quattrocanali amplifiers and a Xilica Solaro DSP architecture.
Coverage outdoors and across large sites
Aquaventure Waterpark needed background music, live DJ sets at the pool and announcements across the park. We specified Martin Audio Adorn A55, CDD5, CDD6, CDD8, CDD12 and CDD15 loudspeakers and SX118 subwoofers for the DJ sets, all on Powersoft amplification. At Blu Oasis, an L-Acoustics KARA II array with SB18 subwoofers covers the main hall, X8 coaxials serve as front-fill and delays, and LA4X amplified controllers handle tuning and control; the system was calibrated with L-Acoustics software. For Lusail Winter Wonderland in Qatar, we produced EASE Focus layouts to plan coverage for LD Systems and TW Audio loudspeakers across more than 30 zones.
Low frequency and headroom for clubs
For Base in Dubai, TPMEA magazine (25 May 2017) reported a 115 dB PA built on a TW Audio point source with Powersoft X series DSP, delivered in 23 days. At Morjana nightclub in Dubai, TW Audio's own reference lists 12 TW Audio T24P loudspeakers, 14 B30 and 4 B15 subwoofers, one BSX infra sub and 12 Powersoft K3 amplifiers, installed by Pulse and co-designed by Joe Chidiac and Rami Haber. Epik in Meydan, covered by Systems Integration Asia in 2024 as a Martin Audio installation by Pulse, combines Martin Audio WPM with TW Audio T20i and T24N, Powersoft Quattrocanali 4804 DSP+D amplifiers and Symetrix processing.
Networks, redundancy and automation
At the WWE Experience in Riyadh, we installed more than 300 loudspeakers across retail areas, escape rooms, museum exhibits and the wrestling arena. The system includes L-Acoustics LA2Xi and LA4X amplified controllers with X12, X8, SB6i and SB18 loudspeakers, Q-SYS Core 5200 and Core 8 Flex processors, QSC CX-Q amplifiers and Soundtube IPD-HP82-EZ loudspeakers. Everything runs on a Netgear AV network of 28 switches on a fibre backbone with a redundant fibre network, and Q-SYS runs the start and end of each day.
At Lusail Winter Wonderland, Q-SYS routed audio across six cores with priority audio for emergencies and special events, Dante feeds came from each ride's cabin, and VLANs on the AV fibre network served six AV rooms. Pixilab Blocks powered the park up and down each day and, from a prayer-time script, switched off the music and showed prayer times on the screens. At Aquaventure, a Q-SYS Core 110f manages distribution across several VLANs on Atlantis's existing fibre network.
Hotels and restaurants
At Nobu, One&Only One Za'abeel, TW Audio C5 and Martin Audio CDD10B loudspeakers sit in custom mounts within the interior; the system was tuned after installation and split into zones that staff control independently. At YUBI in One Central, Martin Audio CDD12B and CDD8B with SX210 and SX115 subwoofers run on Powersoft Quattrocanali 4804 and 8804 amplifiers, with Xilica DSP over Dante; the brief was clarity rather than volume. Mett Hotel Bodrum covers its lobby, restaurants and outdoor areas with Martin Audio, Turbosound subwoofers, Powersoft and Symetrix.
Pavilions and exhibitions
The multi-level Peru Pavilion used Martin Audio and Powersoft, with Symetrix and Audinate routing between exhibits. The Norway Pavilion synchronised surround sound with 20 displays. At COP28, the Azerbaijan Pavilion used Dante, Powersoft and Xilica DSP to give each presentation area its own audio.
Control that venue staff can use
At Atlantis Explorers Club, staff set levels zone by zone or venue-wide from QSC touchscreens. Martin Audio ceiling and wall loudspeakers with SX210 subwoofers cover the club, Bose loudspeakers cover the outdoor play area, and we trained the operators. At SUSHISAMBA on Level 52 of Capital Tower in Singapore, Martin Audio FlexPoint and CDD loudspeakers with SX subwoofers run on Linea Research amplifiers, and each zone is controlled from Xilica wall controllers or an iPad.
Manufacturers in our installed systems
- Loudspeakers: Martin Audio, TW Audio, L-Acoustics, LD Systems, Meyer Sound (at Zabeel Theatre), Turbosound, Bose and Soundtube.
- Amplification: Powersoft (Quattrocanali, Unica, X Series, K Series), L-Acoustics, QSC and Linea Research.
- DSP and control: Symetrix, Xilica, Q-SYS, Midas and Klark Teknik.
- Networking: Dante (Audinate), Netgear AV and Ubiquiti.
How a project runs
Each project starts with a survey of the layout, the acoustics and how each area will be used. On site we coordinate with the main contractor and other trades; at Atlantis Explorers Club, cable pulling and power followed the power chart we produced.
Timescales follow the scope: a two-week installation at En Fuego; under two months at the WWE Experience; four months from design to full integration at Wavehouse; April to the end of September at Atlantis Explorers Club.

Questions
What clients ask us
Which UAE companies design and install professional sound systems?
Pulse Middle East has designed, supplied, installed and commissioned sound systems from Dubai since 2010, with its engineers, programmers and technicians in one building in Dubai Investment Park. Examples include the 11-zone, 108-loudspeaker system at Wavehouse in Atlantis The Palm, the Martin Audio system at Aquaventure Waterpark and the TW Audio and Martin Audio system at Billionaire, Mandarin Oriental Downtown.
Who installs Martin Audio systems in Dubai?
Pulse Middle East does. At Aquaventure Waterpark we installed Martin Audio Adorn A55, CDD5 to CDD15 and SX118 subwoofers. Epik in Meydan, covered by Systems Integration Asia in 2024, uses Martin Audio WPM. YUBI in One Central runs CDD12B, CDD8B, SX210 and SX115, and SUSHISAMBA Singapore uses FlexPoint and CDD. We supply, install, program and commission them.
Can you design a sound system for a theme park or a venue with many zones?
Yes. Wavehouse at Atlantis The Palm runs 11 zones, 25 subzones and 108 loudspeakers, routed through a Symetrix Radius NX over Dante. Lusail Winter Wonderland in Qatar had more than 30 zones, with Q-SYS across six cores, emergency priority audio and Dante feeds from each ride. At the WWE Experience in Riyadh we installed more than 300 loudspeakers on a Netgear AV network with redundant fibre.
Do you install TW Audio and L-Acoustics systems?
Yes. TW Audio's own reference for Morjana nightclub in Dubai lists 12 T24P loudspeakers, 14 B30 and 4 B15 subwoofers, one BSX and 12 Powersoft K3 amplifiers, installed by Pulse. TPMEA reported in 2017 that Base Dubai is built on a TW Audio point source. For L-Acoustics, Blu Oasis has a KARA II array with SB18 subwoofers and X8 fills, and the WWE Experience uses LA2Xi, LA4X, X12, X8, SB6i and SB18.
Does Pulse Middle East work outside the UAE?
Yes. Our sound projects outside the UAE include the WWE Experience in Riyadh and Carttel in Jeddah, Lusail Winter Wonderland in Qatar, Stage in Bahrain, SUSHISAMBA in Singapore, Mett Hotel Bodrum in Turkey, Kudadoo in the Maldives, Keg & Barrel in Yerevan, Asia Asia in Russia and Brass Monkey in Egypt.
What happens after the sound system is installed?
We test and tune the system, then train the people who will run it. At Atlantis Explorers Club we trained staff to set levels per zone from QSC touchscreens, and at Epik we ran training sessions after testing. At Lusail Winter Wonderland we supported the park through its six-month operation. Training, servicing and support is one of the three capabilities on every Pulse project.
